I don’t know what to believe, but there many a tale being told by the tabloids right now when it comes to Mariah Carey and James Packer’s break-up.
Let’s go from the least to the most salacious of stories.
First, it’s being reported that Mariah was blindsided by the break-up.

There could be a kernal of truth to this. It seems the big thorn that sprouted at the end of their relationship was a blow-up fight in Greece. They didn’t talk for a period of time, and Mariah reportedly thought they were going to get together to do so, before finding out that Packer had called everything off via the media.
Yikes, that’s cold.
Second, Mariah thinks an ex-Scientology honcho had something to do with Packer’s change of heart.

This feels far fetched, but doesn’t everything related to Scientology feel that way?
Third, Mariah doesn’t believe in pre-marital sex.

Donna doesn’t believe it, but I do. I don’t think Mariah wants to sweat, ever.
Finally, Mariah is demanding $50M for the break-up.

How is someone able to demand money for a break-up? Is that a thing? If not, I’m not surprised Mariah Carey is the one to invent it.
There you go. You’re all caught up! Now go find someone to date, dump and then ask for $50 million.
Good luck!
xoxo,
Marley
